Being an automobile enthusiast, I always prefer my own vehicle to travel.
When the name Shrivardhan comes, which is a beach area, approximately 150 km from Pune, I am always ready to go. The road conditions are not so good. So, the best option for me was Hero Impulse. It’s a 150cc onroad-offroad bike which Hero Motocorp launched in 2016 and due to poor sales, the bike got discontinued within 2 years. This was one of the worst decision taken by Hero Motocorp. Still, I will always praise the machine.
To accompany me for the ride, I asked my friend Vartika Pande to join me. She instantly said yes after knowing the destination. She too owns a Hero Impulse. Earlier in 2010, Vartika and I did an Anti Tobacco ride coving the Golden Quadrilateral in 12 days.
On 05-11-2016, we started our ride from my home, located at Warje Pune, and we were back the next day.
